About Second Chance Paws
Second Chance Paws was founded by Alex Martinez after repeatedly seeing families face the same heartbreaking problem — a dog urgently needing medical care, and no clear way to get help fast enough.

Alex noticed that many people deeply love their pets but don’t understand how to reach others online, tell their story effectively, or navigate fundraising platforms during a crisis. By the time they try to figure it out, time — and options — are already running out.

With experience in digital outreach and online campaigns, Alex realized there was a better way to help. Not by taking a cut of donations, but by using modern tools to connect urgent cases with people willing to help — quickly, transparently, and ethically.

Second Chance Paws was created to be that bridge.

What Makes Us Different
Donations go toward medical care — not overhead.
Second Chance Paws does not take a percentage of donation funds. Every dollar donated is intended to help cover veterinary bills and treatment.
The only fee we take is 10% of advertising costs, which allows us to run outreach campaigns and reach people who want to help.
This amount is significantly lower than what is typically raised and ensures donations remain focused on care.
Transparency and trust are at the core of everything we do.
Our Mission
Our mission is simple:
To help dogs receive the medical care they need by connecting urgent cases with compassionate supporters — using clarity, speed, and honesty.

Every dog deserves a second chance.
We exist to help make that possible.
